CyberCamp is a free, two-week intro to cybersecurity for middle schoolers, high schoolers, and adults—taught by college faculty using the nationally-recognized CyberPatriot program. Choose from Two Learning Tracks

Each one starts with computer science and security fundamentals and gradually advances to topics such as secure coding and hacking.

  1. Infrastructure Security
    Design, implement, and manage secure IT systems by addressing operational threats, conducting assessments and investigations, and ensuring compliance with security policies and emerging technologies.
  2. Аpplications Security
    Secure applications by designing, implementing, and managing systems that prevent, detect, and respond to threats—while ensuring compliance, conducting assessments, and supporting security across projects and policies.

BangNull Cybersecurity Club

The BangNull (!Null) Cybersecurity Club is a student-led cybersecurity team at Merritt College, dedicated to excelling in the National Cyber League (NCL), a nationwide capture-the-flag (CTF) competition for colleges, universities, and high schools. Founded in 2014 by just five students, the club has grown to over 50 active members and consistently ranks among the top teams in national competitions. Participating in NCL provides hands-on experience in real-world cybersecurity challenges, making it an ideal training ground for aspiring professionals.
