To submit a document to Admissions and Records: send a high-quality scanned document or photo.  To scan, you can download Microsoft Office Lens through Google Play and the Apple App Store.—You may also submit a photo taken with your phone, but make sure the picture is legible and captured in the photo.  Prior to submitting any documentation, please ensure that all the fields are completely filled out and captured in the photo.  Send the scanned or photo document to the staff listed above based on the request or send to Admissions and Records. Click here to upload your documents. Please allow a completion time of 24 – 48 hours.

How to Request Transcripts?

Official Transcript Requests 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION – Please read before initiating your transcript order: 

  • Before ordering a transcript, ensure that your grades and degrees are posted in Campus Solutions. 
  • Official transcripts will include all coursework completed at Berkeley City College, College of Alameda, Laney College, and Merritt College.
  • Official transcripts will include Work-In-Progress (currently enrolled classes) ONLY after the semester has begun (first day of instruction). 
  • Allow up to 15 days for records prior to 1970 processing (there is no rush service for records prior to 1970).
  • In accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, records may not be released to a third party without the written, signed authorization of the student.
  • Picture ID is required to order and pick up transcripts in person.

Dual Enrollment
Peralta’s Dual Enrollment Program offers high school students an early start on their career technical education and opportunities to earn units toward their college degree. We partner with high schools in Oakland, Berkeley, and Alameda to promote educational equity.
