    Kinesiology

    The Merritt College's Kinesiology program – offering courses in exercise science, sports medicine, and physical education. Prepare for careers in fitness, health, and wellness with hands-on training and expert instruction.

    Kinesiology is the scientific study of human anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and human performance. Merritt offers a wide variety of classes that can lead to exciting careers including Athletic training, Physical therapy, Sports Performance (i.e. Strength and Conditioning, coaching), Research for medical, education, and military, Physical Education, Personal Training, and Fitness Industry Management.

    Kinesiology (KIN) classes are offered in the categories of Fitness Center and Recreational Activity as well as classes leading to the Personal Training Certificate.
